if we have been strength training for a long time, then you will know that when we do strength training, we often encounter a certain bottleneck, where our body will experience a certain stagnation in growth, which i believe anyone who enjoys strength training will find unbearable.
It is very common for us to encounter a bottleneck when strength training. Many people will try to find ways to make their muscles grow faster when they are building muscle, and some of them will use fasting strength exercises.

this method is actually relatively common, and many people will use this training method, but more people will feel that strength training should not be fasted, so what kind of benefits and burdens do we actually have when we fasting training? How should we go about fasting for strength training?
The first point is the feasibility of fasting strength training. When we train on an empty stomach our body will have a craving for sugar, especially in the morning when the body has not had any replenishment.
When we are strength training, many of us know that a quick protein supplement after a workout will absorb protein very quickly and effectively, and by doing fasting training followed by a quick protein supplement as well as sugar, we will allow our body to absorb protein faster.

there is a digestibility and absorption rate when we absorb protein, but when we are on a long term high protein diet, our body does not actually absorb protein very well, and many people may use sugar supplements to increase protein absorption, but it is also very limited.
Whereas after we train on an empty stomach, our muscles are very much in demand for protein cravings and sugar cravings, so fasted strength training is feasible and has some effect.

the second point is whether fasting strength training drops muscle. Many people will wonder about this, but in fact, as long as you get enough protein and sugar quickly after fasting strength training, you don't have to worry much about losing muscle.
Our bodies sometimes lose muscle, but it's all with certain conditions, and the rate of muscle loss is slower than your fat loss, and with enough protein supplementation, so you don't need to worry about muscle loss.

if you are a twenty year old, you have even less to worry about because you are still in a positive nitrogen state and the rate of muscle loss is minimal, but we increase your absorption and use of protein when we do fasting strength, which is very helpful for you to build muscle.
So how do we do fasting strength training? Many people hear about fasting strength training, immediately eat nothing and go straight to strength training, in fact, fasting strength training is not eating nothing.

we need to consider whether your body can handle it before we do strength training. Most people experience a drop in performance at the beginning, so you can't really start out fasting straight away.
We can start with a little bit of quick sugar to give our body a little bit of replenishment in and make it easier for us to do the workout, but this is definitely not a very high capacity, just get a little something in your stomach.
